Payroll Administrator
Job Description
The Position is on-site, Monday-Friday at our office in Forest Hills, PA.

The Payroll and HR Generalist will report to the HR Manager and is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and distribution of biweekly payroll via the payroll system (Paycom). In addition, this position will also have Human Resources generalist duties.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the full cycle preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for over 1700 employees
* Ensures payroll accuracy through reconciliation of payroll summaries and payroll system
* Coordinate between payroll, human resources, and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
* Track and deduct all garnishments and other payroll deductions such as 401K deferrals and benefit premiums
* Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, human resources, and operations to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
* Establish/maintain electronic employee personnel files; ensure employee changes are submitted correctly and made on a timely basis.
* Coordinates the setup of new store location information with the payroll provider
* Responsible for adherence to FLSA and compliance with federal/state/local wage and hour regulations
* Processes all new hires and ensures information is completed, including personal information, tax information, wages, new hire checklist, and pay deposit
* Processes all personnel action forms (PAFs), including all compensation changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations
* Responds to and resolves any employee inquiries relating to payroll, pay cards, and direct deposit accounts
* Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
* Responsible for all employment verifications
* Processes all Workers' Compensation claims
* Responsible for year-end verification process, including employee information, accrual setup, earnings & deductions, SUTA rates, W-2, and 1095 forms
* Assist with payroll audits
* Works with accounting to reconcile monthly benefit invoices
* Responds to employee payroll issues and provides answers to questions/concerns
Requirements:
* 3+ years of Payroll processing experience (Paycom experience preferred)
* Human resource experience is a plus
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

* Strong decision-making skills
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Must have a high degree of confidentiality
* Flexibility and the ability to manage change
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Associate's Degree required, Bachelor’s degree a plus
